For decades, Chem-Dry technicians seeking their advanced Master Technician certification worked through binders of paperwork, books, video tapes, worksheets and paper tests. Becoming trained as an expert in Chem-Dry’s products and services hasbecome much easier with the recent launch of Chem-Dry University.

Chem-Dry University features online training specifically designed for customer service representatives and technicians. The lessons are highly interactive and feature games, tests and certifications.

“It’s more than your average page-turner,” said Chem-Dry Training Coordinator Jotham Hatch. “It’s captivating and exciting. I don't know of any other franchise organization that has a training system this advanced.”

Jotham said Chem-Dry University will be a great benefit for both franchise owners and employees. For example, employees can take the courses featured at Chem-Dry University at their leisure, and owners will be able to monitor employee progress online. The owner will be able to quickly track challenges and, if necessary, call a meeting to train on those specific products or services. A franchise owner will also be able to control what courses his or her employees will have access to.

The benefits for employees are also valuable. Because Chem-Dry University is an online learning environment, employees have the advantage of going through the learning modules at their convenience, 24-hours a day, seven days a week.
