For 33 years Chem-Dry has placed innovation as a top priority

Ed Durrant, Chem-Dry’s lead chemist is proud of Chem-Dry’s dedication to development of more than 20 Green Certified products. “We care about the environment and our customers,” he said, “so we are determined to continue developing more green products to offer the healthiest services possible.”

But even before the recent trend of “going green,” the Chem-Dry process was environmentally friendly. Due to the powerful technology of hot carbonating extraction, carpet cleaned the Chem-Dry way requires just one-fifth the amount of water. The core cleaning solution, The Natural®, is also green certified by the FDA and approved for the G.R.A.S. (Generally Recognized As Safe) list which contains products that are safe for both people and pets.

While Chem-Dry leads the industry with innovation for healthy products and green services, they are also revolutionizing the franchise business model with a new program for cause marketing.

Franchise owners now have the opportunity to join the worldwide Chem-Dry network in cleaning to benefit breast cancer awareness. Chem-Dry recently made a commitment to donate more than $25,000 toward the cause. As a part of the program, Chem-Dry’s World Famous Spot Remover® cans will be offered in pink and $1 per can is donated for breast cancer awareness.

Ed Quinlan, Chem-Dry’s Director of Marketing said, “Everyone has been touched by cancer in some way. Chem-Dry knows how devastating it can be to find out your mother, sister or friend has breast cancer. We decided it was time to step up and join the fight. Franchise owners are encouraged to participate in local fundraising events for breast cancer and customers are invited to make a donation at the time of their carpet cleaning. We know that every little bit makes a difference.”

The program also invites participating franchisees to create a special promotion during breast cancer awareness month to raise additional funds for the cause. With this new commitment to support breast cancer awareness and constant improvement of green products and services, Chem-Dry is determined to continue leading the industry with better products and fresh ideas.
